In 2002, the Catholic Mass Media Awards ABS-CBN Foundation’s “Bago Yan, Ah!” as Bast Educational Radio Program. It harnesses the creativity and ingenuity of the Filipino youth through its segments “Batang Imbentor” and “Kaya Mo Yan Bata”, “Fisheries School On-Air”, “Teachers’ School On-Air”, and “DOST Technology”. DZMM Station Manager and award-winning anchor Angelo Palmones hosts BYA!
