DOLE/STANFILCO Backs Up Teacher Training in Davao
Seventy-five elementary teachers from 23 public elementary schools from Davao attended a 2-day teacher training seminar last March 22-23 at the Felis Resort in Matina, Davao. The teacher training seminar is part of the Adopt-a-Hometown School campaign which is a project of the E-Media Program of the ABS-CBN Foundation. The 23 schools were sponsored by DOLE Philippines Inc./Standard Philippine Fruit Corporation (STANFILCO) Tropifresh. The training was also made possible through the assistance of the local offices of the Department of Education in regions 10, 11, and 12.

Globe Adopts Tagum National High School
True to its commitment to provide Educational television (ETV) packages to public schools nationwide, Globe Telecoms goes to Davao del Norte to hand over a complete ETV package to Tagum Naitonal High School. The set consisted of a 21-inch television set, VHS player and 35 volumes of video materials in Science, Math and Literature. The turnover rites were held on March 24, 2004.
