EDUCATION STRATEGY

PRODUCTION
Educational Television (ETV) programs/shows are developed and produced to enhance the learning of Filipino children. To date, six ETV programs have been produced by AFI. RESEARCH plays a crucial role in the process, not only in the development of the shows but also in MONITORING/EVALUATION.

DISTRIBUTION
ETV programs are aired on Channel 2 (ABS-CBN) and at Knowledge Channel (SkyCable). Several episodes have also been converted into VHS format which can be used as educational supplementary materials. These are arranged into different DONATION PACKAGES.

TEACHER TRAINING
The program conducts trainings on the "Effective Utilization of the ETV Infrastructure" to assist in strengthening project implementation. This training aim to give tachers and school heads appropriate strategies in integrating the ETV materials in their regular teaching activities. The training also provides a "short refresher course" on lesson planning and learning evaluation.

MONITORING/EVALUATION
Through the monitiring and evaluation system, proper and effective implementation of ETV is determined.
